Austin Kearns lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 3 RBI as the Caracas
Leones defeated the dreadful Burbank Tigers by a score of 9 to 3 at the
ballpark.

A.J. Burnett(5-6) gave a fine effort for Caracas.  He went 6 innings allowing
4 hits and 4 walks.  Caracas had 17 hits overall, while Burbank had 8.

John Halama gained credit for his 6th save.  Mike Maroth(11-11) was given the
loss.  He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 6 runs in 2 innings.

Caracas now has a record of a division leading 70-48.  With the loss Burbank
